Mike Akerlow has spent 2 decades working in the area of affordable housing—he’s currently the Executive Director of the Community Development Corporation, which serves tens of thousands of Utahns seeking housing assistance, provides counseling, as well as builds and rehabilitates homes and complexes. In this episode, Mike gets into the weeds to educate us on the complicated issue of affordable housing, and he also encourages us as people of faith to change the narrative around how we engage with the marginalized.
